Good Faith Estimate

Your Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate

Under federal law, individuals who do not have health insurance or who choose not to use their health insurance to pay for care have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services.

Because services through A Place Along the Way LLC are private pay, you may request a written Good Faith Estimate before beginning services. If you schedule services at least 3 business days in advance, a Good Faith Estimate will generally be provided within the time required by federal law.

Your Good Faith Estimate will include the expected charges for the services that are reasonably anticipated as part of your care.

A Good Faith Estimate is not a contract and does not require you to receive services from A Place Along the Way LLC.

If the final billed amount is $400 or more above the amount listed on your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the bill through the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process.
